The challenge with corporate sustainability today isn't reporting.
It starts much earlier than people think. It's a problem with data. Sustainability officers scramble to find out what is going on. They contact suppliers, and suppliers don't have an incentive to find the data for them. In the end, companies simply have to guess what their impact is.
After working with a range of corporations around the world, the Trace team discovered this challenge. And saw a solution. We need to connect businesses and make sharing sustainability data profitable.
